Who is Michael Bailey-Gates?

Born in Rhode island, moved to NYC 4 years ago to work on art projects and go to school.

 What did you do before modeling?

I’m an artist, or I’d like to be. That’s what I do here in the city, modeling is something I do as a job on the side. It’s great though because you get to meet other photographers and artists. Most of the time photoshoots are when I get to see my friends, so I look forward to work.

If you weren’t a model what would you be?

The same thing I’m doing now,  art wise.  Probably have to get a second job somewhere….I used to work at the day care center at Bellevue Hospital when I first moved here. I don’t think I could go back to that, but I’d love to make art with kids that’s the best thing.

Your personal passion or hidden talents? 

I played trumpet when I was kid … I was the school mascot in highschool for some events, Mr. Bronco.

Ten years from now (you will be…)?

Living in a big apartment in Chinatown with some windows ( dream big).

Favorite word?:

OK...because it’s kind of ok.

What’s no fun?

Leaks in the ceiling.
